There are three RHA products available in the United States market with each offering different degrees of crosslinking.

RHA 2: a flexible dermal filler that’s FDA-approved for correcting the appearance of moderate folds. RHA 2 is ideal for smoothing the surface of the skin as well as treating radial cheek lines, AKA accordion lines, and perioral or lipstick lines. This filler can also be used for patients seeking lip augmentation.

RHA 3: more firm than RHA 2 and is used to treat moderate to severe facial folds. Aesthetica Nurse Injectors use RHA 3 to address the corners of the mouth and to smooth moderate nasolabial folds.

RHA 4: the firmest of the three. It’s designed to be injected into the deep dermis and even the superficial subcutaneous tissue. This filler addresses deep wrinkles and severe folds, including nasolabial folds and marionette lines, and to build out the chin and jawline.

What are RHA fillers?
RHA Dermal Fillers are clear, colorless, injectable gels that can correct facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds. RHA Dermal Fillers come in 3 different formulations: RHA 2, RHA 3, and RHA 4.
How long do RHA fillers last?
RHA fillers last for approximately 9 to 15 months. Results will depend on the age, lifestyle, and area treated.
Is there downtime?
Most people have no downtime, though swelling and bruising post-injection is normal. The swelling and bruising could potentially take up to two weeks to go down.
When will I see results after my treatment?
Like all other dermal fillers, results will be immediate post treatment.

Unlike other providers, Nurse Practitioners are uniquely qualified to assess, prescribe (since all neurotoxins and dermal fillers are prescriptions) and administer these products since they are licensed to do so under Utah State law.
